Boycott

Hit them where it hurts, in the pocket. Money is F1's master.. A boycott in principle seems logical, but any reduction in viewership would have to be huge and confirmed (how viewing figures are attained I don't know). I would still watch, just not through channels where my viewing presence could be counted for. Once sponsors and partners see that viewing figures are reducing I'm sure they will either re-negotiate or cancel their deals and contracts with teams, drivers, circuits, tv, media, etc etc. And I don't think anyone should be under any illusion that Bernie has F1's best interest at heart RE fans .. it's clear he doesn't.- his idea of interest in F1 is based on it as being a business model. His thrill essentially is in making a deal with customers and partners, not necessarily what that deal is or its consequences are...Bernie doesn't care if he has a million viewers or one viewer he's going to get his fee regardless, because he negotiates these things. The tricky thing is that it's the sponsors who care more about big the audience is ... sure, he's not going to risk the ship sinking at any cost, because then he woukdn't have a means to do what he likes to do. He'll try his best to keep the ship afloat, even if that means by throwing the passengers overboard. And this is when the cargo companys (sponsors) will begin to bail, they won't want to ship their goods on a ship that's lost at sea, drifting, without course in danger of being washed up or running aground. it may as well be sunk in that case. I'm beginning to think THIS ship is better off at the bottom of the sea, let it rot. It needs to die to be rebuilt and reborn again. Or a new captain at the helm to steer a different direction. Clichéd, but people (en masse) DO have the power.
