I was once in your shoes years ago. I was with my ex for years when I suffered a surprise miscarriage. It was physically and mentally painful.

As much as we loved each other, it became a deal breaker. He wanted a family and I just couldn't give him that.

I can only imagine how much pain you're in right now, but if he really feels this way then you should walk away. You should not stay with someone who may hold some kind of resentment towards you over something you have no control over.

You need space to heal and sometimes that means you have to do it without the person you thought would be there.
