The Brexit bill has become UK law. The UK is officially leaving the EU next week.

  1. I am not white.
  2. I have multiple passports and have lived on four continents by virtue of my qualifications. I was first invited to live and work in America after leaving university in the UK (my home) and have since travelled the globe.
  3. the right to free movement and residency in Europe is not based on qualifications. It’s about regarding Europe as home and having the same rights within it as citizens once did in their own countries.
  4. No one in Japan is barred from entering the Uk to work by the EU. The UK could allow free movement from anywhere. Just as Sweden allows free movement with Norway - a non EU nation. That they don’t is more about conservative politics than anything.
