[Build Help] A newbie's first attempt at a gaming PC

My initial views are this: * The CPU is a little overkill just for the gaming you've mentioned. If you're doing video editing or anything more CPU-intensive, that's great. But just for gaming you can get a cheaper CPU - I recommend the i5-6600K, and invest your money in... * A better graphics card! I recommend a 1060 - or, if you're really feeling adventurous, a 1070. This depends on your current monitor though, and whether you have 1080p or 1440p, and whether it's 60hz or 144hz. If 1080p/60hz, a 1060 will do just fine. * Do you really want 1TB of SSD? The most popular set up is around 250GB SSD and 1-2TB of HDD. SSD is really helpful for booting your OS and games, but unless you're moving some seriously big files, it's not necessary for anything else. So for movie, picture, etc. storage, HDD is usually a more sensible choice. * Unless you really like the aesthetic, I don't think a full-tower case is necessary. Wholly personal preference, though. * The PSU wattage is alright, you could skimp down to a 550W but 650W is a good choice. However I do recommend going with the EVGA G2 series over the NEX series - the G2 is far more reliable.

All of this is personal opinion, but happy building!
