BWF Daily Discussion and Beginner/RR Questions Thread for 2019-06-18

Hi All,

I've been doing basic simple push-ups for past 2 months - every 2nd day.

I am able to do either 60 in one go and that's it or 3 sets of 30.

I was afraid it will get boring eventually and it kind of did, I tried diamond push-ups today and I found them easier to do (probably due to some mental mindset that doing less reps but more sets seems more fun and less boring).

Any advice on other types of push-ups to try?

I would love to find two different styles of push-ups (that affect different muscle groups) and do them every 2nd day each (Monday - Diamond Pushups, Tuesday - Other pushups, Wednesday - Diamond Pushups, Thursday - Other pushups).

I am quite new to this so I am a bit lost what direction to go in.

Also - any advice on lower body workouts? (Unfortunately due to having broken back in past - I cannot do any exercises that will decompress my spine [e.g - pull ups, sit-ups] as it causes massive amount of pain).

I can do sit-ups but not full ones, only about 45 degrees going down from up position.
