Can anyone identify this nocturnal monster of a bird that is ruining my sleep and how to shut it up without killing it.

Not to go full Unidan (insert context) on you, but Mockingbirds are little kamikazee fighters. They will call out predators' locations, divebomb them, and generally make a pest out of themselves. They will attack anything ranging from cats to snakes.
