Fairy tales have ruined long term relationships for so many. Passion can come and go and come back again with the same person if both are willing to work on it. The problem is that usually isn’t the case. At least that’s what I get from reading most posts on here and my own personal experience. It seems most aren’t getting ANY effort in the bedroom. If it’s just a “lack of passion” then there are so many things I think you could have tried. The feeling of passion is fun, I get that. And if that’s what you want in your life, cool, power to you. I just think a partnership built on friendship, love, shared values, and those stability things are more important imo.
