Can you be a socialist and also support a living wage?

Living wage is defined as the wage equivalent to the poverty line for a family of four.

The above description was the original standard when Marxism was first practiced in the political system that Bernie has always adored - Soviet Russia. The man spent 25 years obsessing and feeding his fascination of Communist Russia. He and his wife wanted America to be just like Russia, and their adoration for Communism brought them to Moscow for their honeymoon in '88. Bernie has ALWAYS had a very low opinion of mankind. And the chaos and trauma he experienced and witnessed in the 60's instilled that in him. He believes that the root of mankinds problems is freedom. He believes thato financial and social freedom in the hands of people is destructive in the hands of people, because it opens the door for greed, poverty and oppression. And in order to maintain egalitarianism, people need to be governed by a state of absolute power because people are incapable of governing themselves.

I bring this up because it is important for BS supporters to know that his initials aren't just a clever play of acronyms with a descriptive double meaning. Because the entire Democratic Socialism narrative is complete bullshit. His beliefs haven't changed and he knows that the public won't cosign his ideology. But he believes down to the core of his being that his Communist ideology is mankinds only chance, and it could save the world. He believes in it so deep that he's willing to mask it from his followers and party members. So he masks it with an ideology that he knows will be acceptable to the public - Democratic Socialism. Because to him, the public just isn't ready to accept what they need. He has no qualms with fooling the public, because he believes that his agenda is ethical, just and necessary and it comes from a position of compassion and the well being for all. No wealth, no poverty, nothing past the essential needs. Because capitalism is oppressive and destructive.

This is the goal behind Socialism. It stems from a philosophy of maintaining the axiom by the means of absolute power of the state and restriction of wealth, and it is sold to the public as an egalitarian utopia.

One thing that socialist supporters and their elected socialist elite have in common - is the warped sense of entitlement that allows them to be ok with imposing their ideology, and redistributing wealth. There is no form of socialism that is remotely moral in the slightest bit. Socialists will argue that it's about sharing, and equal distribution of the fruits that the means of production provides for us all.

The mistake that the socialist elite repeatedly make, is this great idea of how to keep the system balanced and maintained - high taxes- and even higher for the rich, state controlled market, state investments, state ownership of industry, etc etc.

The mistake that the advocates make, is this belief that their lords will get it right the next time around, and believing that the neo socialist version mixed with psuedo democracy hasn't ever been put to practice. The truth is, no form of socialism can work. It's like trying to squeeze a pitcher of lemonade from just one lemon - the lemon runs dry after a couple drops and everyone ends up thirsty. Wake the fuck up people.
