Canada will see weakest level of homes sales since 2001 this year: TD report

Hey man honestly it’s really fucked up but you can’t blame yourself.. everyone and their mother was frothing at the mouth over real estate the last 2 years and no one really saw the red lights flashing. I mean, it was one of those instances where everyone knew shit could hit the fan.. a lot like how we treat climate change right now, the heat was rising but no one wanted to acknowledge it. My fiancé and I were nearly prepared to FOMO into the market but because of her family we wouldn’t have even been able to move into it until we were married this year.. as much as that crap pissed me off, we got lucky and didn’t buy. In the current climate we are damned if we do and damned if we don’t.

Your place sounds interesting and long term it will serve you well and I’m sure you’ll break even eventually, don’t beat yourself up much though man, I doubt we will be able to buy something for ourselves in the next 2+ years.
