Yep, I can't imagine who frustrated I would be if the cops wouldn't do anything about a crime committed against me but they only have so many resources, they just can't investigate everything. They also can't put out an APB for every break in, hit and run or shoplifter even if they have a perfect picture, departments want to save pushing a picture out for when an offender is actually dangerous so that people, including their own cops, actually pay attention and maybe remember the face instead of it being lost amongst an avalanche of photos of minor crimes.

I guarantee if those people at the bus stop had been hit by that car they would put way more effort into finding those assholes, I'm glad they were ok but unless someone is hurt the cops just care way less and it's not neccasilry because they're lazy, they just don't have the time to hunt down every tweaker and douchebag teen in town.
