Cardio on an empty stomach?

"some say it burns fat 3 times more" No. Just no. What utter bullshit nonsense. I can belive that guy in the linked video can say that bullshit with such a straight face.

If you train or run or do cardio better fasted. Then great! Do what works best for you. But "burn 3 times more fat". I can not believe more people are not going ape shit over this 100% bro science.

Just read all these articles which are based off scientific studies.

Here is one thing. "if you burn more carbohydrate while exercising, you'll ultimately burn more fat in the post-workout period and vice versa"

Meaning if you train fasted, you burn LESS after you train. If you train fed, you burn MORE after you train. It evens out. Which goes back to train fasted, or fed, whatever works best for you.

Thing two: "performing cardio fasted increases lipolysis but it does not increase oxidation. " Why does this matter? To burn fat you need to release the fatty acids through lipolysis and then oxidize them for energy.

Thing 3: "Fasted cardio burns fat faster, but fed state cardio boosts fitness level & increases total calories burned. Fasted cardio can lead to adrenal fatigue from excess cortisol if done too frequently."
