CCNP for entry level network position?

1) Honestly no. I've been there long enough for the entire office workforce to expand 4x over and there are so many new people the culture has changed drastically. The communication style of the company is also dysfunctional and toxic. (Lots of secrecy, back channel deals, sudden firings, and condescending people)

I know that sounds like the answer right there, but for a long time it wasn't that easy. For legal reasons I was tied to that job. I'm not anymore so I'm looking g around, but I have a few friends still there and I was always dreaming of being a network engineer there as it's a big international.

2) Nope, not at all. They pay us shit honestly. We're in Europe so it's kinda normal because in return we have better worker protection and a month vacation. Still, I expect they might only give me a 3k raise if I'm lucky and get ccnp and move to networking team.

As to your last point, maybe? The bosses often tell me 1 thing and other people who ask about me another thing. Boss in question as said he needs to know workload first to justify headcount before moving me over if I get ccnp. He then tells other boss (my friend) that he plans to hire other ccnp people very shortly. So does he have he workload to justify the headcount or not?

Honestly, I'm resigned to never achieving my dream of being on networking there. I can get ccnp, make them pay for it, then see if there is a job, if yes, cool, if no, cya.
