The style is at its worst right now but we have to take into considerations that we have injuries in Bellerin, Holding, Sokratis and Ramsey. We are 1 point off of the top 4 and we did lose to BATE but that is not 100% on Emery.
We have never forced play through one side as hard as we did vs BATE. Mustafi made overlapping runs many times when he got switched out to play RB but midfielders ignore runs and look to left. Regardless of who is playing RB we can use that space too, to create some sort of unpredictability. Lacazette was also very poor vs Bate. Bad movements off the ball and did not give options to ball carrier.
