China breaching every act in genocide convention, says legal report on Uighurs

That's what people are trying to explain, the situation's locked in a stalemate. Because china can end the world with nukes if anyone declares war on them or tries to force them to stop their genocide, everyone's hands are tied, no government can act. The best anyone can do is maybe putting sanctions on them, but that won't stop them from killing because they really want them dead.

This isn't a "we could do something but nobody knows about it so nothing's being done"-motivation deprivation situation. This is a "everyone knows about it and is currently watching in helpless horror" situation.

Unlike the holocaust, where plenty of govs and people literally didn't know what the nazis were up to (and only decided to intervene once the issue left germany and revealed what was happening), we're fully aware of what china is doing because we have modern surveillance... but because they have nukes, they're untouchable.

We kinda just have to wait for it to end in their success, or china has to overstep and try to push the situation out of china into neighboring countries (giving other countries a serious enough reason to consider war - A country killing it's own people isn't war worthy, given the risk).
