The Christian Right is winning at the Supreme Court, but not in public opinion

That's Progressive Christianity twisting things to suite popular demand.

That's actually Judiasm. From 4000 years ago. Nothing to do with popular demand. Many Jewish congregations still teach that life begins at first breath.

Some Christians also believe this. You say that Progressive Christianity is twisting things. Who says they don't have the right interpretation and it's you who are wrong? After all: "None of us know anything really. What we do know has been written in scripture." Genesis 2:7 is scripture, and there s more than one way to interpret it.

Interesting that you have noting to say about Numbers 5:11-31. The Bible telling people how to go about getting an abortion.

For someone that's supposed to be all about life, God sure goes cause a LOT of natural miscarriages. It's been estimated that 25% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage, most before the mother even knows that they are pregnant. God sure kills an awful lot of babies.

He welcomes the sinner. Not the sin.

You didn't answer my question. How does same-sex marriage hurt you? Jesus never condemned homosexuality. Jesus did condemn judgmental people (Mathew 7:1-4). Kinda tells you what his priorities were.

Have you gone full Leviticus yet? Stopped eating shrimp? Thrown out cotton/polyester blends? Given up cheeseburgers? If not, then you're just as much of a sinner, and you've got no reason to be worried about who other people are marrying.
