Clinton's lead in the popular vote surpasses 2 million

A silver lining on this is that I am starting to see a true boogyman to galvanize everyone to fight against.

Had Hillary won, it would have been impossible to question authority due to identity politics. You would be branded sexist and lose everything. Hillary would have been a massive pain in the ass to deal with. She would wield a white male hating iron fist while pretending to be the good guy. We would have been at war with Russia and Trump would have called for civil war. The alt right would have been mobilized.

If Hillary won it would have lead to insane, splintere3d disaster where every faction is splintered and everyone is firing shots in different directions.

However, since Trump won, Trump is an obvious punching bag. He can be a clear villian. The problem is that Democrats are flailing about holding on to their shitty ideologies and actually attempting to double down.

If democrats pull their heads out of their asses, drop identity politics and galvanize people, we might genuinely have a shot at reform. Finally ditch the electoral college for starters!
