You’ve just seen it. The OP talked about the overall inefficacy of PC (which I disagree with but regardless) and the first response was to say political correctness keeps Nazis in place, using the most extreme example and turning the exception into the rule.

Their self-flattering virtue signaling aside, they’re not really battling with Nazis anymore than deregulation advocates want to repeal laws against murder. Instead they’re going after students who don’t use the right pronouns, or setting up kangaroo courts for sex harassment, or manufacturing gender or bias crimes to justify their extreme intolerance, or running administrators off campus for making claims such as “men and women are different.” People claiming that displays of religion “trigger them.” Rioting and protesting when an unpopular speaker comes to campus.
