Modern Germany has fallen victim to Soviet occupation that the American view of Germany is that they are victims of a toxic regime only freed in the 80s. Germany pays reparations to Israel and are extremely apologetic as well as suppressing nazi ideology.

I don't do or say things that may be viewed as racist or anti-semetic.

You probably don't have a German accent, people in the USA don't know what a German descendant looks like. I have the accent and I am may as well have been born in England because my parents are immigrants and I was raised around English speakers. You probably live in a white dominate, conservative area as most german descendants live in the mid-west of the USA.

I live in a mostly left wing city in Virginia where the majority is white, but those whites will discriminate and openly deny me of work because of their racial quotas. You do not know what it is like. It took way longer to find a low paying job than I thought it would be while I attend school. Meanwhile my black friends were OFFERED jobs at places like Walmart and Target. I am disturbed by this fact that because of my skin color I am discriminated, I am sorry if you haven't seen this for yourself, but this is how it is for me.

In the words of MLK: "I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood."
