Colleague who works as a freelance photographer went mad after I told him to pay after we receive the images

If the contract states that u pay upon receiving the images I would stick to the contract and make sure you are covered. What if you pay and he delays the images? Or plays hardball and acts out even more? Stick to the contract and you keep the proof of him asking for money before the images were handed over that way you show proof of you god forbid have to go to a lawyer cus of this. He says “whatever” because he knows that’s what it says in the contract lol he is being unreasonable. Does he do drugs? He sick then he is fine then he turns into a different kind of guy who says pay me pay me pay me. It is in ur best interest to stick to the contract my friend.
