Comcast says net neutrality supporters “create hysteria”

I mean, I love Google, but they really are kind of fucking over the little guys. I know they're reaching more people by focusing on the big cities/urban areas, but it'd be awful nice if they adopted a "One for you, one for your friend" kind of approach and touched some smaller areas in between each big area. Hit a big city, then pick a few smaller areas to set up, then another big city, etc. I live in a smaller area, but one that's monopolized by a single company that's absolutely fucking horrendous. If Google rolled through here, every single person would jump ship in favor of triple the speed for half the cost, and considering that it's a very small vacation kind of area with nothing much to do but watch netflix or do other things online? It would change lives.

Either way, as is if you don't live in a big city (because seriously, who can even afford that shit these days), it's basically looking like a fucking decade before Fiber will even start to trickle in to these kind of areas, and then it's luck of the draw if and when they finally get around to you. For such a huge corporation you'd think they'd be able to move at least a little faster on these kind of things.
