If you go out into the suburbs, a lot of houses that were trump supporters will still have their faded signs out in their yard along with potentially some thin blue line, back the badge, Ron Johnson for Senate, appeal to heaven, gadsden flag, etc

This group got emboldened by the trump years and isn't ashamed of or too secretive about what they believe, likely listens to Fox news and conservative media, and may be more likely to be openly hostile.

Although it's not happening very quickly, some of the suburbs are turning more blue as time goes on. Older generations are stuck in their ways but younger generations and transplants from other blue areas are expanding the rings around the suburbs to more blue.
