Do you continue to see patients in primary care who are seeing another doctor for high dose controlled substances that you feel are not indicated?

What on earth is that doctor thinking? My ADHD gives me insomnia. My psych has me on a sleeping med I don't particularly like (it's not generally used as a sleeping med, and gives me weird dreams), because it's the only sleeping med I've responded to that doesn't react to my ADHD meds. She is reluctant to prescribe benzos, since it's so addictive. It's possible that once we've finished playing around with doses (for the ADHD med), I'll no longer need the sleeping med. In which case she might be okay with prescribing a small amount of benzos for bad nights, but I doubt she would do that anyway. Benzos are not to be toyed with. You really need to report that doctor, because this is completely irresponsible
