Reddit, what's the cruelest thing you ever did to an ex? Did they deserve it?

I was in an unhealthy relationship for nearly three years (in addition to dealing with other personal issues like anxiety, depression, weight gain brought on by my issues and the stress of the relationship, etc...) I had sort of an epiphany moment at my birthday "party" and dumped the guy that night, seemingly out of the blue (if you were anyone other than that guy, it was pretty obvious that we weren't going to work out, but that's always the way.) So he goes ballistic. We were sharing an apartment and he starts punching holes in the wall on a regular basis, manages to wreck his car in the apartment parking lot with me in it. As I said, we were in a parking lot, parked, so I didn't have my seatbelt on. He didn't have the car in park or something (I really don't know how he could have accidentally done this) but he rams a tree that's right next to the parking lot space we're parked in hard enough that it throws me from my seat into the floor, bruised my leg horribly, something on the console cut me and I'm talking a bruise the length of my thigh and about three inches wide, he gets it into his head that the reason I broke up with him was that I was cheating (not at all true) and starts hacking into my email, Facebook, going through my phone, etc... to find proof. There wasn't any, which pissed him off I guess and he starts punchig walls again, ditches me in the lease with apartment damages, and then frequently sends me the "why are you doing this, I love you" messages. As soon as I was no longer legally tied to him (he still had apartment keys and other things like that) I stopped talking to him completely. Blocked him and all of his friends online, etc... Basically eliminated all forms of communication. He would get so pissed that I never responded to anything and sometimes it gave me a cruell satisfaction. It drove him nuts. For more than a year after our breakup, I was still getting angry texts, screenshots of people's Facebook relationship statuses with "so this must be who you're cheating on me with" and all kinds of crazy drunk texts. He even signed me up for a rewards program at a local bar. I enjoyed every single one of the hundreds of messages he sent because it meant I got to have the power play of not responding at all and knowing it drove him mad. Plus every time he went to the bar and signed in with my number, it got me one step closer to a free T-shirt without having to do anything except watch from afar as this guy drove himself mad sending me unrequited harassing texts, emails, voicemail, etc... He even messaged my sister on Facebook at one point, almost two years after I dumped him, trying to get her to somehow prove I had cheated on him (???)

*Tl:Dr - * dumped a shitty guy and then drove him insane by not responding to any attempts at communication
