Coronavirus Megathread: Resources, discussion, and your questions

So, I'm a self employed contractor, I filed taxes later than usual and my "where's my refund" page shows it was set to be mailed out on the 12th of this month.

I haven't seen it arrive yet, but I am the only one I know in this situation so I have no idea how long it's supposed to take. To further compound the issue, even though I electronically submitted it and they already took the funds, it would only accept an incredibly old address for me, and even if they sent it on to the forward address I gave that place it would have gone to yet another house that I don't live in anymore and hopefully they actually forward it to this address. I'm just worried that at any point in this chain some idiot could have identified it and claimed it. I also can't set up an account on the website to verify what address they have or try to set up direct deposit either, because no matter what combination I put in nothing works and I keep getting locked out.

I tried calling the IRS and they were less than no help, the woman I talked to after an hour on hold didn't even know self employed contractors had to file before their stimulus check would go out and tried claiming my stimulus check went out weeks ago. Well if it did, where did it end up? The woman kept trying to tell me random useless information instead of just letting me update my address or find out where the damn check supposedly went.

Does anyone have any idea what the turn around time is SUPPOSED to be, or what it was for anyone else in my situation?
