Of course parents should be conscious of their kids weight. All 3 points are so wrong!!

Definitely. My mom let me get morbidly obese by 2nd grade. Now as an adult when I'm making my own decisions, I'm realizing that once I lose all of the weight I'll be stuck with loose skin and be permanently deformed because of something my mom chose to ignore when I was a child. I never got a chance to have a healthy and normal body. Everyone made fun of me and my mom's solution to that was frying me some potatoes when I got home to make me feel better. I ate fried potatoes every day. And as an 8 year old, you lack the mental development to realize why that's bad - I ended up asking for them every day, which my mom now blames on me. I had literally not one friend throughout elementary school that wasn't some other morbidly obese kid that got shunned by everyone else. And my mom would drop any friends who told her that she shouldn't be doing this to me.
