Credit Cards for Minors?

Credit cards/info are too easily stolen

This is the best argument for a credit card. The bank/debit card info gets used the same way CC info does, and thus is just as easily stolen. But the difference is that with a credit card, if there's a purchase you didn't make, you just tell the CC company that and don't pay it. With a bank card purchase you didn't make, your money is already gone, and you have to work to get it back.

There are other concerns with credit cards, of course, mostly the potential for getting into trouble with irresponsible spending and acting like the credit limit is free money. But if your concern is about fraud and unauthorized purchases, that's an argument for a credit card, not against it.
