Please read the list of banned books if this is regarding texas. Here in texas there were No books about the holocaust in the list of books to be banned. Maus was never banned.I can understand outrage at book bannings but this article is misinformed. The books that are actually being banned are mostly about lbgtq materials and a small minority of the banned books discussing race. While they shouldnt be banning library books, the majority of it has nothing to do with history or the halocaust, and most of the books have nothing to do with race. Roughly 60% of the banned books were lbgtq related, 8 % related to race, and the rest were related to teenage pregnancy, abortion and sex education
