Heya! First of all, wow! I’m impressed you stayed on it for so long, most doctors recommend to not take the shot for more than 2 years, because bone density lose, etc. Personally I got my first depo shot a a few months ago and it really didn’t work for me (mood swings/weird periods like nothing for 3 weeks then bleeding for 2 weeks) so I decided not to get the shot again, and it didn’t take too long for my cycle to return to normal. I had some spotting then and there the first month, and then after that month everything balanced itself out and I started getting my normal (but painful lol) 7 days period. I changed for the patch and so far so good, I’m really happy with it. I’m not sure about fertility though, I think the cases of being totally infertile are really rare, my doctor told me it can take up from 2-12 months to be completely fertile again, depending from person to person! I hope this could help a little bit even if I wasn’t on Depo for long! <3
