My company's CEO (big aerospace) did the same shit, emailed all of us with an awkward PR/solidarity email. Like dude, we make fucking aircraft parts and our customers give zero fucks what we think about this, why don't you get back to figuring out how we're going to avoid laying off half the company over the pandemic?

I 100% think the cop that killed George Floyd should get burned for this, but for fuck's sake there is a lot more going on this world than an over-sensationalized police killing and the asinine riots and looting in its wake. Sounds callous, but we have much bigger problems right now. Doesn't help that the American news media is fanning the flames the best they can to get those sweet, sweet ratings and views.
