I understand where you are coming from. I moved across country for my SO, and basically left everyone I knew back home, and other places across the country now. It's incredibly difficult to make friends when you have a hard time leaving your home, and people just "don't get it". So I'm pretty reclusive. For what it's worth, I took up painting classes at 4Cats and love it, but there's PaintNite too which is supposed to be great!

Focus on the good things you've got going in your life, like your kitties! I moved my cat with me when we came this way, and without her, I don't know where I'd be. She kept me sane before I met my partner.

For what it's worth, I know the place I order it from is cheaper than anywhere on the internet, and they ship! My Mom takes it on a regular basis now, and swears by it, so they ship it to Ontario for her. You can literally call them up, order/pay over the phone and they'll mail it to you.
