Just take them and leave me alone, Raoof Haghighi, Graphite on paper, 2021

I feel like a more accurate analogy would be the constant ACAB, which means All Cops Are Bad just in case you haven't seen it before. Though of course cops choose to be cops and therefore I feel it's more reasonable to hold them accountable for other cops actions simply for being cops whereas men don't choose to be men. I totally understand why the constant "not all men" comments any time a woman tries to express her suffering from men is tiring, but on the flip side I think if no one ever made those comments defending men when generalizations like "men only want sex" or "men dont care about consent" such beliefs would be more widespread. Like if a post got to the front page of reddit which was a discussion post which claimed men are violent by nature and not a single person disagreed even slightly, I fear most people would then reach the conclusion that the hypothesis is true, as there are no counter-arguments. I've personally found that many women now include stuff like "obligatory not all men" in their posts, which is maybe annoying, but does make me feel a little less defensive before even reading the post. Which also makes it worse when there are still men going off about how they don't do those in the comments despite the author already acknowledging that.
