Last summer a friend of mine was moving away and we ended up having a bit of a fight the day before she moved. A week later she gets rear ended on the highway in the early morning on her way to work by a speeding drunk driver forcing her into the ditch and the truck launched over a side road and rolled multiple times landing on the roof. She broke her back. Blood everywhere. No body around. She was able to crawl out of the truck to find her phone all without the use of her legs.

I never would have even known what happened to her if I didn't happen to randomly come across her dad posting on Facebook looking for the truck and noticing the beat up blondes face (I don't have her dad on Facebook and didn't know his name) and thinking that girl looks strangely familiar.

She ended up being able to walk again only about two months later thankfully but her back is basically all metal now and she has a tough time with the cold weather. We've made up since then and I'm actually driving 5 hours each way tomorrow to help move her back here so she can live with her mom.
