Daily Simple Questions Thread - February 11, 2018

Hey guys,

So I'm a 16 year old dude, 1,73cm height and 68kg.

Im looking to build a bit of muscle on my shoulders and arms, but sadly I have no access to a gym or professional weights.

What I have access to, is cement, and I guess I could create some weights with that, but then again I don't really know how I should make a weight.

I've started the last few days doing two kinds of exercises I've seen online, one is the kind where you put your left arm and leg on a taller place, put a weight on the floor, and lift it with your right hand. Then repeat for the other side, mirrored.

The other is the one where you're sitting, and you have the weight in your hand, and you "close" your arm, essentially lifting the weight up and down by bending your elbow only.

I have literally zero knowledge of how exercises are called, neither how to make a program. The last week I have been doing 70 times the first exercise, and 60 times the second everyday, each hand, with a suitcase I've filled with stuff to reach 5.5kg.

So, I'd like perhaps some advice on how to exercise better, more efficiently and above all correctly. Also how I should go about doing these exercises, how many times, how often.

Also I'd love some advice on how heavy I should do the concrete weights, how I should go about building them, and if I should, of course.

Thanks in advance guys!
