Damage Rounding, anyone got it figured out?

Interesting, tyvm for your comment! That could explain the three values. However, it does lead to two new questions:

  • The value shown in the arsenal is 212.8. The numbers you gave would be rounded to 212.7. As it was just an example, I assume one would have to check if there is a range for which the criteria are all met.
  • Why would DE set the base value to something like 34.999 rather than just plain 35 as intended? Or is there some fuzzy oogy-boogy way the engine would manage to store a 35 input as 34.999 instead?

This reminds me of something that might be of relevance to this as well. Some weeks ago, I did an Excel spreadsheet which contained a table with values in one column being increased by a fixed amount from each row to the row below, and a function applied to those values in a column next to it. After many iterations to more rows, suddenly something really strange occured, as the function values became really odd (the function was extremely sensitive around the values I used for the independent variable). It took me a while to figure out what was going on using the error analysis etc., but I could ultimately identify that after many iterations of increasing the independent variable column always by a fixed amount (+1 I think), it suddenly increased it by +0.99999... as many decimal digits as it could store, which lead to the strange values. I was completely baffled by this and had no idea why it would suddenly change the value by itself, but re-inserting the proper value manually and going on fixed the issue. I have the feeling that this is somehow related to this. It feels like we're up to something. But the really question is... ... how are the Illuminati involved in this? There is only one valid explanation: Aliens.
