It doesn't matter if everyone is stupid. There is a sufficient amount of stupid people to generalize. If the world keep generalizing us as a whole country, I don't understand we should try to become what the rest of the world is. If you, as in the world, don't give the population in this country a chance to prove themselves how is that right? I'm not saying that it's going to be easy, we've easily screwed up a lot of countries in this world and have done some of the worst things in history, but we aren't the only ones. Has East Germany been completely forgiven by everyone? No, but half of the population there opposed the Nazis and still they are ridiculed. I'm not trying to use other countries to justify our mistakes, as I don't believe they should.

I agree, unfortunately. Just look at our military. Sure, it's one of the strongest among countries, but it's as corrupt as the religious wackos we have here. Our government lies to us, tells us that other world powers are trying to take over the world so we agree to blindly attack. Unfortunately with the rich in our society, throw a lump of cash in front of them and they'll wag their tails like the bitches they are. Our government is the worse and it's the elder people who vote them in. Yeah, but they are also not doing anything to change things and they are completely misinformed about the rest of the world and what's going on on this planet and their own country. Just talk to Americans on this site. They make excuses, they explain how what their country is doing is normal and acceptable, they go to great lengths to explain that their country is a good one. They are crazy. Americans are crazy. I refuse to vote in this country as a 23 year old. Maybe that's a bad thing, but my voice isn't enough. I'm a child in the eyes of the law still. Hell, I look like a child still. My one voice, or even the voices of my peers, will never get through to our government. I really don't think you understand how hard it is to be heard in this country. NO ONE CARES. And maybe that's the overall problem. We've let our government run us and decide what's best; I call it blissful ignorance-same with religion. Americans are crazy. You're right. But so is the rest of the world in their own way. Maybe we're crazier, or maybe you watch too much Larry King. Not everyone here is an ass or treats others with disrespect. And I would never try to defend this shit-hole the evils that come from it. We poison our communities with GMOs and without our knowledge. We are given decisions and then they decide for us anyway. How are we suppose to stop that when there are more idiocy than intelligence.

I'm sorry you have a generalize view of us and I know it wont change. I don't care, personally. It's not my responsibility to go somewhere and convince them America's great, because I try not to lie to people. Believe me, if there was a way around ignorance, us intelligent people would've taken over a long time ago so we could let other countries go about their daily business.

But maybe open up to the fact that the people who are upvoting me believe in the same as I. Our government is a corrupt piece of genetically modified cow shit and it would be amazing if people would open their mind for a minute to hear the things that need to be done.
