Banning specific classes of weapons does nothing. Any gun, even hand guns can be made automatic by removing one little paper clip sized hinge. There are hundreds of videos on YouTube that teach you how to do this from the comfort of your home.

Don't: - Ban Specific Types Of Firearms - Ban Specific Types Of Ammunition
- Force Criminal Background Checks (most people who commit gun violence have never been convicted of a crime, so the check does nothing to prevent the person from buying a gun) - Prevent Former Criminals From Owning Guns (many criminals are not violent offenders and many of the actual violent offenders come out of prison reformed and no longer violent)

Do: - Put High Taxes On Firearms To Create Healthy Government Revenue - Limit Authorized Firearm Distribution/Selling To Police Departments Only (no more poorly regulated gun shops) - Require Mandatory Passed Written & Practical Firearm Exams (to make sure you actually know how to shoot and know gun safety well) - Require A Certificate From A Licensed Psychiatrist (to make sure you are mentally and emotionally stable) - Require A Gun License That Must Be Renewed Every 3 Years (to make sure you continue to be mentally and emotionally stable, and to make sure you haven’t forgotten how to shoot ex: old age, haven’t shot in a long time) - Conduct Nationwide Buybacks Monthly (to remove existing unregulated and illegal guns from the streets)
