Depressing realisation

Looking for small meaningful changes in areas or life that are often overlooked can be very rewarding. For me personally at the height of my depression and despair I just thought to myself, what is one area that I can change and make a small improvement. I decided that I would just learn to prepare a simple meal for myself and make it the highest quality I possibly could. Starting with breakfast, I manually squeezed glasses of fresh orange juice. I watched an Anthony Bourdain video on tips about something as simple as making good scrambled eggs and bacon. Its a small step but it helped changed my way of thinking. I slowly started improving other areas of self care in my life and I think it is having a exponentially positive effect. I started caring about my health more and put more effort into keeping things cleaned up around my apartment.
