Desperate Help with Losing our Home

Oh. Im sorry. I misunderstood.

I looked up their programs - super interesting - and im curious if theyve already agreed to rebuy the home? Because they state this,

This Program is not available if the seller of the home failed to disclose a known issue. InterNACHI® does not intend for this program to be a substitute for the homebuyer's right to bring an action against the seller for nondisclosure or concealment.

Which sounds like your situation, no?

Might be worthwhile to talk to the actual inspector. I wonder what the fall out for them is in this scenario. Like... Well they drop him if you guys "file a claim"? Would he be willing to compensate you guys financially to avoid that situation?

In any case, I agree with others. Losing a house (and a place to live) for $15k feels like a surmountable problem. Maybe talk to a loan officer about home rehab loans? Like what about a small HELOC loan or, if your income qualifies, a HUD Title I loan - it think they have a $20k max but it would get you closer.

I really dont think selling the house is a good option, genuinely. If youre getting a loan just to close, what about moving costs and first/last/security deposits?
