Destroyed with logic...

Oh, really? Then name one characteristic of NON-toxic masculinity. Not a character trait that both genders express, some positive quality unique to men. Don't worry, i can wait...

Toxic masculinity isn't unique to men. It's negative social traits and norms that are forced onto men. When you say "some positive quality unique to men," you miss the aim of targeting toxic masculinity which is to break down negative gender stereotypes.

I've said it before, I use to have the same reaction before I learned more about it (while trying to find ways to attack the concept, ironically) so I understand where you guys are coming from. When I learned that the result of combating toxic masculinity allows us to be emotional, be nurturing, seek physical or mental help instead of "manning up," not feeling the need to assert our power to generate respect, it was all pretty liberating to be honest.

It's named appropriately, but I do kind of wish it was termed something else only because we immediately write it off as "men are toxic" when it's really far from that.
