Developer Update | Introducing The Server Browser | Overwatch

One of the things I've been hoping for since launch was a more casual, less competitive way to enjoy this game... I think the premise of this game is great - but I don't really enjoy the 6 v 6 comp format.

I used to love playing in 24 slot TF2 servers running 24/7 Capture the Flag on ctf_2fort, and I know the chemistry of this game might not work in the same format but I'd love to see how it plays out...

What I'd like the most is a game mode where I could play toward an objective without really needing to rely on my teammates too much, or at the same time... be able to sit back and have fun doing something useless without the game ending because I didn't help out...

Playing 24/7 ctf_2fort, I could do those things easily... I could steal the flag on my own, depending on how well they defended.... or I could walk around invisible as a spy and just Sap Sentries and Stab Snipers.... (I think it was a 10 cap limit, or something that took longer)

TL;DR

Really hoping for some casual game modes that encourage "lone wolf" tactics... and don't require complete team cooperation to feel like you successfully completed some objective. I think having larger teams might help that.

Thank you for the server browser!
