DONE with this wedding. My parent tried to tell me. They tried to fucking tell me. That nobody would come. Because my entire family is selfish and wont leave the state of Oklahoma for any reason. So don't ask. Every single one of my friends declined. Every one. If I wouldn't have invited the receptionist I became friendly with at work very recently, I wouldn't have a single person there for me besides immediate family. My parents tried to tell me to have a destination wedding, but my FH would have NONE of that, because his number one priority throughout this entire wedding is that his high school friends are having the best time possible. If I could go back, I would have drawn a HARD line and said yeah well honestly I don't really care about your friends who I have no relationship with. Who cares what the groom wants? The groom hasn't been fantasizing about their wedding since they were 6 years old. The groom isn't going to look back and have regrets on anything concerning the wedding. But I let him convince me that my parents were being "mean" and trying to a big wedding away from me. LMAO. WELL. Looks like I will be the one during my wedding, looking around at nothing but my fiances friends and family. I am 300% DONE. I plan on getting obliterated and just dancing with my sister all night
