I am also worried since the invasion of Ukraine there's been individuals growing in popularity that identify as the left put out material that's creating a new form of radicalism to indoctrinate the left. I find myself lately needing to have the same talks of breaking down brainwashing as I had to did with the with the MAGA/qanon right. Those who are susceptible are the normally awesome activist/informed types.

They are supposedly "anti-war" and "anti-imperialist" yet at an extent act no different than MAGA personalities. Some of these people are long-standing figures, some of which people I had spoken to do not believe me they're this way. It's been difficult trying to explain to people that even this material and people are NOT good, even if they do use facts and half-truths for some of their material.

Someone like Tulsi Gabbard acts like this, but she actually left the Democratic party, which doesn't surprise those who were already suspicious over her denialism. Gabbard put out some false narratives on biolabs in Ukraine, then spends her time on Fox News... Max Blumenthal and Aaron Matè of the Grayzone are no different than your Lauren Southern and Milo Yiannopoulos of the alt-right. Blumenthal and Matè are actually anti-vaxxers... Which makes sense because Vanessa Beeley, a known anti-vaxxer is also their friend. There's lesser known groups that are also part of it like Mintpress News and the people such as Vijay Prashad who are using the situation in Haiti as a gateway to join this mentality, yet this man has a book on Lenin, since he's clearly a Leninist. Many of these people are Leninist, just like their fans, some of which also love Mao and Stalin.
