My mom keeps saying how other people my age have masters degrees even though I’ve already expressed my interest in grad programs and even applied to one in a different country. When my interview came i told her i had to sleep early esp bc of time zones. Ofc she thought it’d be ok to make noises all night. I was so exhausted in my interview and it wasn’t a typical interview either. Im still waiting to hear back but if im not accepted i can’t wait to never let her hear the end of it.

It still pisses me off. Like you never shut up about a grad degree and when I get the opportunity you do the worst thing possible by not allowing me to rest.
