I dont think its racist at all, speaking as a white person. I mean I had a black friend who worked at a smoke shop in our small town and customers would avoid touching his hand when getting change and all kind of petty sick shit that wasnt outright words and aggression but was very obvious the were racist and didnt like him.

I had some more black friends who traveled here to work at a factory I worked at and they got in a fight their first weekend at the bar because someone called them slurs and tried attacking them (mostly white town, KKK 20 mins away). The bar owners banned the guy and the cops didnt act any type of way towards them but the fact that it even happened is horrible and even worse I wasnt surprised to hear it. I dont know a single black person who hasnt dealt with it sadly, especially out here:(
