Nobody is saying "There is going to be a civil war". They are saying "Civil war is possible" or rather "I fear that civil war is possible" to which you respond "No civil war is not possible" or, at the very least, engage in an appeal to ridicule to make it seem functionally impossible.

If you don't see why that's wrong, I'm not going to connect the dots for you.

If you're under the impression that major civil upsets turning violent has never caught anyone by surprise, you need to re-examine your confidence in your historical knowledge.

Clearly, for you, this is about "winning an argument" when really, all you're doing is dismissing someones fears casually and ignorantly, seeing as how literally no one has put forward an argument and yet you claim that non-existent argument to be invalid.
