Why don't boomers understand inflation?? McDonalds wages

Inflation statistics show minimum inflation. They are based on a carefully picked list of more stable goods, and when something significantly exceeds the average in the basket, they just remove it, or replace it with some arbitrary item which didn't.

Then they call the stuff which exceeded their arbitrary inflation number 'growth'. House prices aren't inflating; they're growing!

Nevermind the fact that should you sell your house, you're going to need to buy a new one, or rent, and you're going to be paying equally higher prices to do so.

It's growth because the wealthy who own multiple properties benefit, directly at the expens of literally everybody else.
