We don't deserve to be treated with such contempt over a $2 avocado

They should of mentioned the plan for them to get free youth labour working in stores.

I cannot use a self serve checkout because of disability. And I am that entitled. You bet your ass. I always take my trolley back even though it physically hurts to- I am not totally entitled, but since I cant self checkout its help me or no buy .

I am very lucky to to have foodland(IGA) nearby that is actually cheaper than the big supermarkets (IGA vary wildly) and if I am having a bad time they will go fetch things for me, and empty my trolley and even load my scooter. Gosh they know me well enough that they offer if I am having a bad time and never if not. They have no lines policy and lines are super rare because of that. Even one person waiting and they open another checkout.

One the main offences of big supermarkets is name tags, IMO. Strangers should not know your name, that is yours to give. I think name tags are very handy is social meetings and organisations and conventions and such. That just shows me for a bit of anachronism.

Petrol is all self serve these days abut I think its not practical fro supermarkets any old mum is allowed to shop.

If someone like me was shopping I would double charge myself as much as anything. My observation is that people are often less competent than they think they are. I kind of doubt that all people are deliberately stealing.

I have had to simply leave my purchases at coles because of no service and at least one person does this every time i visit Coles( rarely- I have to be being driven) Igot a hell of a shock when I was taken to Coles and Woollies recently ( in search of an electric kettle- which they do not have now they have shut down local small electric stores) they are very expensive supermarkets.
