Look. At some point, you’re going to have to lower your standards. I’m not telling you to settle for someone you’re not attracted to, but in my opinion, you need to sit down and do some thinking about why superficial characteristics are so important to you and consider whether it’s worth it to hang onto those.

Your dream partner is not going to have every single characteristic you want them to have, and you’re deluding yourself if you think there is a person out there who does. No one is perfect. You aren’t either. You’re most likely writing off people you’d enjoy dating because they don’t check every single arbitrary box you’ve come up with in your head. Try expanding your horizons a little.
