My story is actually about two of my former best friends. One was my childhood best friend, from the ages of 6-14 or so. The other was my high school best friend, from the ages of 14-17 ish. I moved away for uni, and a year or two later they got into a relationship. I thought well damn, this is amazing! Two of my best friends are in love! Then they got married! My high school best friend asked be for advice on the ring and everything, and on his planned proposal. My childhood best friend didn't ask me to be a bridesmaid, but I get it, we had grown apart somewhat after I moved for school.

Pretty much after their wedding neither of them ever talked to me again. I'd try to make plans when I came home for breaks from school, and they basically just ghosted me. I'm still not sure what happened. Maybe she was jealous of my friendship with him, even though we had been friends for years with nothing happening? They got married friends they like better? Maybe they both decided they hate me? Who knows. It's been 3 years since their wedding and I haven't seen either of them since. :/
