Double standard

Try looking up what a no true Scotsman fallacy is before trying to defend against it.

That could be applied to any group with that logic.

That's the point. Groups all the time have internal divides and try and define what IS and what is NOT what their group is about...

But you can't claim that the part of the group you agree with is the level headed part that should be listened to because you are not in the position to decide what is rational to everyone in the group.

I've met plenty of women who say they are feminists who think that men can indeed be raped, that women should be able to take punches too (or no one should hit anyone), and that these rights all go both ways.

What would you call this group of women?

Rational people. The fact that they're women is irrelevant.

What makes them feminists is them calling themselves that and fighting for what they believe the cause is.

Actually scratch that, every feminist I've met in real life has said that.

Do you understand what an anecdote is? You must understand that your experience is not indicative of everyone's, right? That these feminists you disagree with do exist but you don't associate with them, right?
